Good Stead Consulting, PLLC is a Nevada-based law firm that provides a wide range of professional and legal services for Real Estate, Foreclosure Defense, Debt Relief Services, Loan Modifications, Bankruptcy, and Litigation for distressed consumers in a modern and ever so changing landscape. Our goal, subject to regulatory and other restrictions is to work with consumers and businesses in every legal jurisdiction in the United States.
We realized many years ago that banks and mortgage companies have adequate legal representation, while homeowners and consumers often struggle to fight them on their own. We leverage our relationships with lending institutions, organizations, legal networks, and various startups that also share a common goal and that is to protect homeowners. OVERVIEW OF STAFF AND HOW WE PROVIDE SERVICES
The firm has affiliated lawyers located throughout the United States. These affiliated lawyers are all experienced with debt-related matters and collectively have hundreds of years of experience with consumer and business debt matters. These lawyers work with a dedicated team of support staff to achieve the objectives as well as make the experience of working with Good Stead Consulting a pleasant one. To keep consumer costs down, the staff working under strict guidelines and supervision of lawyers takes on a good percentage of the work. Any time a lawyer is required, a lawyer is indeed involved.
THE MANAGING LAWYER
Christopher Stead, the managing lawyer, is a senior lawyer with over 25 years of experience helping consumers address their financial problems. Mr. Stead is a graduate of the University of Idaho Law School and has been a member in good standing of the Nevada Bar since 1995. He has personally handled numerous bankruptcies as well as worked with consumers to resolve unsecured debts as well as to modify the terms of mortgages on their residences. Mr. Stead oversees the work of the staff and the affiliated legal network. Mr. Stead is also the owner of Homestead Law, a law firm devoted to offering loan modification services that maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Stead is also affiliated with Consumer Legal Services America and Consumer Debt Law Firm, two other law firms focused on issues relating to financially distressed consumers who also maintain an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

To ensure there is full understanding before any service commences, the Firm conducts a compliance review to make sure there is a common understanding of the services to be provided and the unavoidable risks built into the process. As a Consumer and a Homeowner, you deserve to know your rights when it comes to dealing with your lender. After conducting a thorough financial analysis, we prepare a strategy that is consistent with your goals. Having participated in a Loan Modification Program, it often becomes necessary to prevent or rescind foreclosure, and our firm will work with your lender to obtain an affordable loan modification on your existing mortgage, even when a foreclosure proceeding is in process.
